David Fenn, Senior VP of Farm Operations for Sunworld International, joins us today to talk about the Superior Seedless grapes. Introduced in 1972 the grapes begin harvest in early May to the end of June in the Coachella Valley then transition to the San Joaquin Valley for the month of July. An early ripening variety that has low acid and high sugar with a crunch, the grapes can range in size from 13 to 16 inches. When mature the fruit has a white, creamy finish that has a shelf life of around ten to twenty days.
