The Texas International Produce Association (TIPA) is partnering with C.H. Robinson to host an upcoming series of web-based seminars which will be focused on logistics and transportation.
The webinar sessions will be brief for the convenience of TIPA members, each one only lasting 30-45 minutes. The sessions will also be repeated several times throughout the year, according to a press release.
"We are eager to help further educate our membership regarding current and future trends in the transportation sector. C.H. Robinson has long been a staunch supporter of the Texas produce industry and TIPA. With the rapidly increasing volumes we are seeing coming across our Texas Ports of Entry, shippers are seeing a number of challenges when it comes to their logistics operations and C.H. Robinson has a unique perspective that will help shippers plan accordingly," said Bret Erickson, President of TIPA.
The following topics will be covered: Transportation Market overview, Market factors, Mexico highway completion and effect on market, Regulatory impacts, Navigating peak season markets, and Improving the LTL supply chain.
The first webinar session is scheduled to occur on Thursday February 13, from 11am-11:45am and is open to all TIPA members.
