USDA Cites Oasis Corporation for PACA Violations

<p style="text-indent:0px; line-height:12px;"><span style="font-eight:bold;">Washington, DC-</span><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">By ANUK Staff<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">01.22.13</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>Oasis Corporation, doing business as One of a Kind Produce, has been cited by the USDA in violation of the Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act (PACA). The company out of Las Vegas, Nevada, failed to pay $776,654.87 to seven sellers for 255 lots of produce.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Due to the actions of this company, Oasis Corporation doing business as One of a Kind Produce, cannot operate in the produce industry until Dec. 10, 2014, at which time it may reapply for a PACA license, according to a press release by the USDA's Agricultural Marketing Service.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Michelle R.
