The strategic partnership will allow Utah Onions Inc. to offer the company's retail and wholesale customers Vidalia® Sweet Onions for the 2013 season. The partnering of the two companies will bring together an experienced sales team, with a state-of-the-art packing facility, drying rooms, and advanced food safety focus as well as a vast array of innovative consumer packaging capabilities, not to mention a well established and respected brand. The expert sales force that Utah Onions Inc. brings to the partnership will offer a unique retail focus and perspective. As of late, the company has seen the need to further develop it's sweet onion program and as the category grows every year, the company strives to offer its customers a true "one stop shop" with a shipper and brand that have come to be synonymous with excellence in quality and service. The program will offer opportunities for freight savings to east coast receivers along with mixed truck load opportunities on reds, whites and Vidalia® Sweet Onions.
