In previous seasons, the first cuts began in March, stated Carlos Alberto Esquer López, President of the Association of Producers of Vegetables in Yaqui and Mayo.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Lopez stated that in general, all solanaceous crops, including bell peppers, chili peppers, eggplants and more, could experience delayed maturation from the lack of developmentally-important cold, but are expected to perform well nonetheless, as reported by the Tribuna. <img src="https://cdn.andnowuknow.com/legacyWriterImages/mexican-heat-update-april-16-2013-cropped.jpg" alt="images041613" /> In regard to health, he indicated that this season had been very good. Applications of pest controls have been minor compared with other years, which is why producers are expecting that this season will produce good yields.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><a class="btn btn-sm btn-primary col-lg-12" style="white-space: normal;" href=" http://www.tribuna.info/index.php?option=com_content&amp;view=article&amp;id=360828:n1p1e&amp;catid=12:campo&amp;Itemid=120 " target="_new">Mexican Crop Delay</a></p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">
