Welcome to Behind the Greens. Dan Crowley, VP of Sales, Well Pict Berries joins AndNowUKnow to share some of the company’s varieties grown on their Watsonville, CA field. Mr. Crowley tells us their strawberry variety, which began in March, is large in size and full of flavor, primarily due to the perfect growing conditions. He tells us the foggy Watsonville mornings give the fruit firmness while the sunny afternoon produce good sugars.
