RIDGE SPRING, SC - A momentous partnership arises, as 4Earth Farms™ announced yesterday afternoon that it had joined forces with Titan Farms. Together, the two companies have developed a shared vision to develop South Carolina as a strategic hub for the North American produce industry.
"This is a project that has been years in the making," said David Lake, President of 4Earth Farms. "Expanding our packing and shipping capability will immediately benefit our existing East Coast customers. This expansion will allow us to provide even fresher produce while being more competitive and expand our customer base by being more convenient to those retailers we have difficulty servicing due to the distance of our West Coast location.”
Both companies, as a press release noted, hope to further promote farming and supply in the Southeast. A facility in Ridge Spring, South Carolina, will offer a year-round supply, as well as FOB and delivered programs.
"We are very excited about how this new collaboration creates economies of scale for both Titan Farms and 4Earth,” remarked Chalmers Carr III, Chief Executive Officer of Titan Farms. "While the infrastructure, investment, and expansion have just begun, we look forward to how it will benefit our local workers, community, and customers."
The new facility, which began production in time for the Thanksgiving holiday rush, will continue to ramp up in 2023. This means that 4Earth Farms' top value-added commodities will be available there.
An incredible announcement for both companies. We look forward to hearing more about this industry partnership, so stay tuned to AndNowUKnow as we follow the latest.
