<p>Giant Carlisle, a division of Ahold USA, was just named Apple Merchandiser of the year by the National Apple Month Program. The award indicates that the company has demonstrated outstanding merchandising and promotion for apples and apple products throughout the year. Jeff Beaulieu, vice president of Sales and Marketing, stated: “"We take great pride in our merchandising, quality and presentation of the apple category, with a focus on our customers.
