PHARR, TX - Triple H Produce has some big news in store for the industry just in time for the Viva Fresh Produce Expo this weekend. The company is using the big show to reveal a brand new fresh fruit division, which will add Persian limes, strawberries, blueberries, and grapes to its ever-expanding portfolio of products.

“We believe Viva Fresh Expo will serve as the perfect platform to officially launch this new fresh fruit division,” Marketing Manager Alicia Garza shares with me ahead of the show. “Triple H Produce today has grown to be prominent in supplying Mexican vegetables to the U.S. market, but we are not done yet as we expand our vision—to become a one-stop shop for fresh Mexican fruits and vegetables.”

The work to expand the new line started last February, when the company first began shipping loads of Michoacán strawberries to the U.S. Persian limes from Veracruz were next in line, already seeing a great response from by the company’s retail and foodservice partners, Alicia adds. Just last month Triple H added Mexican-grown blueberries to its repertoire, shipping to Costa Rica and opening a whole new scope of possibilities in the South America market.

But stay tuned, Alicia says, as the company will be continuing to add more products as the seasons come, including mangos, as well as Flame, Sugraone, Perlette, and Red Globe grapes from Mexico and Chile.

“We want to supply our customers with a wider portfolio of Mexican and South American products, and import that fruit to the American market during the domestic off season,” Alicia explains. “We are currently optimizing the capacity of our warehouses in both Texas and California, growing our business with American retail chains, and establishing Triple H brand recognition with the American consumer.”

These new products will still be positioned under the Triple H brand, as the company looks to evolve a broader vision under its new slogan—“Freshness for the World.” At the same time, Triple H plans to keep expanding its retail-ready line with convenient poblano, jalapeño, and chayote squash presentations.
