LA CAÑADA FLINTRIDGE, CA - No matter how it happens, building bonds with other people is part of human nature. In many cases, these bonds are forged through our careers, and can be strengthened through the company we represent. Allen Lund Company (ALC) is ensuring unbreakable bonds amongst its team, completing its fifth year working with TeamBonding at the annual Managers’ Meeting.
“Anytime we can provide service to those in need and compete with each other in a teamwork effort, it’s a win-win,” stated President Eddie Lund. “Thank you to TeamBonding for facilitating a great event and helping Father Joe’s Villages, it was an honor for us to participate.”
According to a press release, the event included team-focused activities, which resulted in a charitable donation to the non-profit organization Father Joe’s Villages in San Diego. This year’s TeamBonding challenge had ALC teams build miniature golf holes with canned goods and blankets. Blankets were collected by ALC’s Accounting department which resulted in 130 blankets and seven cases of food all total being donated.
In addition, ALC employees engaged in another competitive game resulting in an employee winning $920 and donating the funds to Father Joe's Village. Allen Lund Company overmatched the earnings for a total of $2,000 being donated.
Keep on building those bonds, people! Because we are that much stronger when we surround ourselves with those we trust. Keep a tab open for us at ANUK as we continue to grow our bond with you.
