SANTA BARBARA, CA - Apeel Sciences announced significant additions to its executive leadership team aimed at bolstering the company’s efforts in commercialization and global growth within the fresh produce sector.
“I’m thrilled to join Apeel at such a pivotal moment in its commercial growth,” said Angelika Torres, who was appointed Chief Financial Officer. “The company's commitment to sustainability and innovation is inspiring.”
Torres has a strong background in building finance teams and driving corporate strategy. Prior to Apeel, she held senior financial positions across the United States, Asia Pacific, Latin America, and Europe, successfully optimizing capital allocation and executing growth initiatives.
Peter Allen joined as Vice President of Product Strategy and Management, leveraging over 15 years of agribusiness experience. Previously with DSM-Firmenich and Bayer Crop Science, he focused on developing customer-centric solutions along the food value chain.

Sam Oliver took on the role of Vice President of Product Supply, bringing 35 years of experience in operations across the agriculture and food industries. His expertise in supply chain optimization and compliance will be crucial as Apeel scales its offerings.
