All of Bee Sweet’s Star Ruby Grapefruit are packaged in new, high-graphic bags and cartons to attract curious consumers. The grower’s Star Ruby Grapefruit are the deepest colored out of all red grapefruit varieties, according to a press release, and are also less acidic, packing a sweet, tangy flavor that every shopper can enjoy.
“Star Ruby Grapefruit are especially sweet and juicy in the late winter and early spring,” continued Watkins. “Consumers can distinguish them apart from other grapefruit varieties with their blushed rind and dark, red internal color.”
This delicious variety is harvested in California's Southern Central Valley, contains few to no seeds, and supplies an excellent source of vitamin A, vitamin C, and potassium. Whether eaten as a snack, incorporated into tangy breakfast meals and salads, or used to top off that end-of-the-day cocktail, Bee Sweet’s Star Ruby Grapefruit has use to fit anyone’s taste buds.
