CALIFORNIA & MEXICO - Right before the Christmas weekend, Bobalu outlined its overall crop updates as it looks toward the new year. The company is excited to bring new volume forecasts in 2023, but for now, let’s dive into the end of year outlook.

For California, the supplier reported that it looks forward to the new 2023 season emerging in southern California.

Bobalu reported that the strawberries coming out of Mexico are showing excellent flavor and sizing

“We are beginning our harvest in Coachella, and Oxnard is right behind with new fruit coming just in time for the new year. We hope [the] weather cooperates and brings us a happy new year in our fields here,” Bobalu said in a newsletter.

In Mexico, the supplier reported that fruit is crossing more regularly now as the regions slowly move into peak production.

“The fruit size, color, and quality looks very good, and we are ensuring our QC team is on site to ensure best quality before shipping,” Bobalu continued.

With excellent flavor and size, these strawberries are ready to ring in 2023!
