WENATCHEE, WA - We are closing in on the final leg in the race to the Fourth of July, and you don’t want to miss the opportunities CMI Orchards has in store. Ready to help its retail partners supercharge their summer sales, the supplier is fueling success for the cherry and apple categories.
“CMI’s American Dream® program offers a dynamic in-store merchandising opportunity, allowing retailers to give back to military charities,” Rochelle Bohm, Vice President of Marketing, shared. “A portion of proceeds from every box sold can be donated to a military charity of the retailer’s choice, or to a cause CMI already supports such as the Wounded Warrior Project, Soldiers' Angels, or Operation Homefront to name a few.”
With this highly customizable program, retailers can choose causes that align with their values and give back at a national or local level.
Two varieties standing out ahead of Fourth of July promotions are CMI Orchards’ JUICI® and Ambrosia Gold® apples. Both varieties continue to be a top choice for consumers since their introduction to the market.
“This Fourth of July, we’re spotlighting two high-flavor apples: JUICI and Ambrosia Gold. These premium varieties, known for their exceptional quality and taste, are perfect for driving Fourth of July sales and maximizing charitable contributions,” says Loren Foss, Vice President of Business Strategy at CMI.
Cherries are also available in the American Dream program, including Red and Rainier varieties. Retailers can maximize impulse purchases by providing multiple in-store destinations in the produce department and at check-out for customers.
“Cherries are a summer sensation. Their limited season creates a sense of urgency that drives impulse buys,” says Foss. “We always suggest planning Fourth of July promotions early to secure volume and POS.”
