SACRAMENTO, CA - After this round of our ANUK apple logo contest, professionals from around the produce industry have shown that they may have been detectives in a past life as they showed up and showed out when it came to locating the hidden logo. Stealthily concealed on the cover of the October issue of The Snack Magazine, finding the apple logo was no easy task, but the feat has been accomplished by two eagle-eyed produce champions.
One of the first to make their way into our inbox was Claudia Pizarro-Villalobos of D’Arrigo California. With her prize money, she plans to pay it forward to her fellow co-workers.
“I am going to purchase coffee and pastries to share with the sales and marketing team,” explained Pizarro-Villalobos. “Our team has done a phenomenal job remaining positive and powering through some challenging produce markets and staying connected to customers and consumers during COVID-19. I am certain the sweet treats will be enjoyed by all.”
Coming in to grab the second $100 prize was Danny Ortiz, Quality Assurance Inspector for Sysco West Texas, who loves a good challenge.
“I want to give a big thanks to ANUK for keeping all of us on our toes and providing us with good information day in and day out, especially on [these] hard times we’re facing,” commented Ortiz. “To everyone out there, stay safe and good luck next time.”
If you didn’t have luck this round, don’t fret! Subscribe to The Snack Magazine here (subscription is valued at $129 per year) and keep an eye out for future contest announcements on ANUK for another chance at winning our cash prize.
