DINUBA, CA - There is nothing like a new chapter with old friends, and in the case of Scott Jones, that means joining the growing King Fresh LLC sales team.
“I have always respected and admired the way Keith and Lisa Wilson have built King Fresh,” Scott tells me. “They are diversified and not afraid to take calculated risks. In addition, the folks working for him seem to be in it for the long haul, which says a lot about a company.”
Scott joined the fresh produce industry over 30 years ago, working first for Pandol Brothers and then Delano Farms. Having focused primarily on table grapes, cherries, berries, and stonefruit, he has had an opportunity to build experience on various export items to locations throughout the world.
That experience, King Fresh President Keith Wilson shares, has already proved invaluable.
“We are seeing immense growth in our Mexican table grape operations right now, and Scott has been instrumental in that growth since he started with us in early March,” Keith says.
As for Scott, the feeling of both excitement and energy for what is on the horizon is mutual.
“Joining King Fresh allows me to stay active in the fresh table grape business while pursuing new avenues in various commodities with a great company,” he concludes. “I’m looking forward to finishing my career with King Fresh.”
