Consumers will no longer have to compromise on flavor, freshness, or quality when seeking to prepare a convenient meal solution at home."
With just 120 calories per serving, the wraps make their way to stores just in time to take advantage of shopper demand for healthier options to meet their New Year's resolutions, a release stated. The easy-to-prepare kits feature sustainably greenhouse-grown living butter lettuce heads, a chef-inspired chicken and veggie blend, and a tangy stir-fry sauce that can be assembled into restaurant-quality lettuce wraps in about five minutes.
This marks Local Bounti's entry into the 'Heat and Eat' category and its second value-added product line offering in just three months. In October 2022, the provider debuted its premium Grab & Go Salad Kit line, featuring two vegetarian-friendly offerings: Poppy Power and the Modern Greek.
