SALINAS, CA – Cementing its support for the local community and promoting healthy living, both in its employee culture and through its produce offerings, Mann Packing is continuing to back the American Heart Association’s (AHA) Go Red for Women movement.
“We remain committed to supporting this tremendous cause and helping raise awareness about heart disease,” said Gina Nucci, Director of Corporate Marketing at Mann’s. “We are so proud to have the opportunity to work with the AHA and serve as a local champion for this critical health issue.”
On Friday, February 3rd, the Mann’s staff celebrated National Wear Red Day® on the front steps of the company’s Salinas headquarters, according to a press release. As part of the company’s local sponsorship, Mann’s will participate in the annual Central Coast Go Red for Women luncheon held on February 17th at the Inn at Spanish Bay. The company has also organized several events to raise awareness of heart disease and provide employees with the necessary tools to lead heart-healthy lives.
Mann's plans to participate in the AHA’s Central Coast Heart & Stroke Walk in October in a further effort to raise awareness and funds used to combat heart disease and strokes.
