<p style="text-indent:0px; line-height:12px;"><span style="font-weight:bold;line-height:130%"> Central Mexico</span><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">By Eric Anderson<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">4.12.13</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>The Secretary of Agriculture, Livestock, Rural Development, Fisheries and Food has declared a multitude of municipalities and growing regions south of Mexico City and in Puebla, as natural disaster zones following a severe frost in early March. <img src="https://cdn.andnowuknow.com/legacyWriterImages/puebla-cropped-april-12-2013-2.jpg" alt="images 0411130" />The icy conditions, described as extraordinary, hit 275 hectares of Columbian pomegranates, peaches, and plums resulting in fruit burns and damaged sprouts on March 2nd and 3rd, according to El Sol de Cuautla<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">150 hectares of avocados were damaged as well.
