A majority of our products are in California. So far weather has been a non-factor. We had the earlier cold weather this Winter and we are seeing a few quality defects showing up but nothing that has really affected supply so far. Supply right now is really good. Peak season for us is now through June and then again in October through November. Due to the success of our programs last year, we are going to double the size of our organic snap pea and organic green bean program this year. Market in general is tight on a few items just because of some of the quality defects, but overall, markets are fairly steady.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> Samantha Cabaluna, Director of Communication, Earthbound Farm Organic<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Right now, Earthbound Farms is harvesting down in Yuma, Arizona. It was a little cold early in the season, but it has been good so far. Salads, which are the main part of our business, are pretty consistent throughout the year. The market for organic salads continues to grow. Its experiencing double digit growth, much more robust growth then the market for conventional salads. In the organic salad category, 17% of salads sold are organic and that compares very favorably to 4% of food overall. So, we are doing something right.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Todd Linsky, VP of Organic Sales, Grimmway Farms<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Currently, we are in transition between our Winter season in Coachella, CA and moving back up to our Springtime area in Lamont, CA. That transition is currently underway and that should happen over the next couple weeks. Supply is good, the numbers are out there. The transition is making it a little bit difficult because you are finishing things in Coachella before you are ready to start in Lamont. Currently in the next two to three weeks, supplies are going to be a little shaky. But all in all, the numbers are in the ground and we are looking forward to a good Spring season.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> This is an exciting time for the organic industry, the industry as a whole continues to grow. It is growing at a great pace, out-producing its conventional counterpart. The produce section is doing really, really well.
