PHOENIX, AZ - With the new year comes a heightened focus on healthy living, driving consumers’ eyes to all things fresh. As shoppers map out their health-forward New Year’s resolutions, Sprouts Farmers Market is offering a helping hand, tapping author Candice Kumai to host a series of Facebook live streams to inspire healthy eating habits throughout the month of January.
“Feeling better and leading a healthier life can begin simply by incorporating delicious, nutrient-rich foods into your everyday meals,” said Kumai. “My recipes and practical tips are informed by the ancient, time-proven rituals of my Japanese culture, and I can’t wait to share my knowledge to help viewers nourish their mind, body, and spirit.”
Kumai, who has been named “The Golden Girl of Wellness” by ELLE and Forbes, will bring her dynamic skillset as a classically trained chef and food editor to the series. The videos will go live every Thursday this month at 2 p.m. PST, according to a press release, uncovering timely tips to help shoppers utilize fresh, healthy, and seasonal solutions at home.

Those in attendance will have the chance to win prize bundles, including copies of Kumai’s latest book, Kintsugi Wellness, and Sprouts gift cards. Viewers can download the Sprouts App to view weekly sales corresponding to each week’s live stream topic.
