<p>Trinity Fresh is taking on an exciting and fresh role in Sacramento's Farm-to-Fork Week celebrations. This past Sunday the Sacramento-based company sponsored Yelp’s Farm to Handle block party in the city’s Handle district. The event raised funds for Happy Trails and WEAVE Inc. with donation boxes situated at the different ends of event. </p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>Danee Brady, Marketing Manager for the fresh produce distributor, told AndNowUKnow, "We are really getting involved in Farm-to-Fork week in its first year. Sponsoring the Yelp event allowed us to connect to passionate consumers, growers and restaurateurs in the community and the week isn't even over yet!"</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>The company showcased its produce offerings with two huge 10 palette high displays and boxes with different fruits and veggies ranging from heirloom tomatoes to sugar pie pumpkins and winter squash cultivars. A booth opposite the displays presented attendees with three different melon selections: watermelon, honeydew and cantaloupe, all from local farm-to-fork growers.</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>Upcoming this Saturday, September 28th, the inaugural Sacramento Farm-to-Fork Festival will kick off at Capitol Mall where Trinity will display an installation connecting some of its growers, including Capay and California Endive, with Sacramento-area restaurant chefs.
