<p> With relatively warm days, little rain, and high demand, Wisconsin potato growers are looking forward to a very idealistic, profitable September, the key month for harvesting Wisconsin potatoes.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> Potato farmers in Wisconsin are expecting to harvest a majority of their potatoes in September so that the supply can soon meet the strong demand. Since conditions were so ideal during this season, consumers of Wisconsin potatoes can also anticipate seeing a large number of potatoes in excellent quality. “Conditions were ideal,” said Tamas Houlihan, communications director of the Wisconsin Potato &amp; Vegetable Growers Association. “There were warm days, not too much rain, and no drought like last year. We expect to see excellent potatoes in Wisconsin with good size distribution to meet consumer demand.”<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> In terms of pricing, russet potatoes are expected to be the most popular with pricing at $20 hundredweight and size A red potatoes following right after at $16-$17 hundredweight.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> However, because September has just begun, “it is still too early to tell if there will be storage issues for these Wisconsin potatoes,” commented Houlihan.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Stay tuned to AndNowUKnow as we follow the season.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><a class="btn btn-sm btn-primary col-lg-12" style="white-space: normal;" href=" http://wisconsinpotatoes.com/" target="_new"> Wisconsin Potatoes </a></p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">
