Bob Thorp Comments on the Freeze in Yuma

<p>Some are calling it a natural disaster for the leafy greens industry, after freezing conditions swept across Yuma recently. The complications first started in November, when abnormally warm weather accelerated production. Now, with the last few days of freezing, many retailers are so concerned about their topline produce sales, they are traveling to the area to see the damage firsthand. I spoke with Bob Thorp from Growers Express to find out the latest. As Bob says, it will still be a few days before the full extent of the damage is known.
