Ahold USA Appoints Jan van Dam as Executive Vice President of Supply Chain and E-Commerce

In this new role, Mr. Van Dam will report directly to James McCann, Chief Operating Officer where he will focus on leading a supply chain organization that supports Ahold USA and its four Divisions, Stop &amp; Shop New England, Stop &amp; Shop New York Metro, Giant Landover and Giant Carlisle. He will also be responsible for Ahold USA’s ECommerce business with Peapod President and General Manager Andrew Parkinson reporting to him.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Mr. Van Dam will be transitioning into his new position in April, according to a press release.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><img src="https://cdn.andnowuknow.com/legacyWriterImages/aholdvandam020413body.jpg" alt="Jan Van Dam" /><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">The industry veteran's direct reports include Jeff Enright, Senior Vice President, Supply Chain Distribution Operations; Walt Lentz, Senior Vice President, Supply Chain Replenishment and Forecasting; Mark Tarzwell, Vice President, Supply Chain Projects, Fresh; and Jerry Pimental, Vice President, Supply Chain Projects, NonPerishable.
