Joe Kelley has been appointed as President of the Stop & Shop New England Division, effective May 21st. In his position, Mr. Kelley will direct all facets of the division with responsibilities that include sales, operating profits, organization, strategy and employees. He will also be helping to uphold the local Stop & Shop brand and ensuring that results are consistent with Ahold USA’s overall philosophies. To add to the recent good news, Ahold USA has promoted Mark McGowan to the role of Executive Vice President, of the Supply Chain, for the company. The promotion also goes into effect May 21st. Mr. McGowan brings over 21 years of experience with Stop & Shop to his new role, where his responsibilities will include leading a supply chain organization that supports Ahold USA and its four divisions.
