ALDI is opening the doors to their 10th store location in Houston, TX on Thursday, May 9th, right on the heels of opening their first nine stores in the area last month. The new store, located at 5855 Hwy. 6 North, was built with environmentally friendly materials and will stay open from 9am to 9pm seven days a week. The grocer, which is known for its high-quality items at low prices, applies cost-saving practices such as cart rental systems, a smaller store footprint, and open carton displays to eliminate overhead costs and keep prices low.
