Baldor DC has now moved into a new and bigger facility in Jessup, Maryland to support their rapid expansion. The new facility is strategically located directly adjacent to the Jessup Produce Market and features 15,000 square feet of refrigerated space and has multiple temperature zones and loading docks. The facility also takes advantage of the latest energy saving technologies to ensure that the operation is as ecologically friendly as possible, according to a press release.

This expansion has been planned for quite a few months. Such a move will allow the company to provide the same service, products, and value that Baldor’s esteemed clients in New York and Boston have been accustomed to. In fact, Baldor New York is supporting the new location by making daily tractor-trailer deliveries of specialty products and produce from its 175,000 square foot warehouse.

The company is now capable of supplying deliveries to restaurants at a minimum of six days per week throughout the entire region. In addition, its mid-Atlantic presence will allow the company to easily source and back haul fine local produce from its premium Virginia and Maryland farms.

Baldor Specialty Foods
