Making sure mandarins and oranges are available year-round is Bee Sweet, which is off to a strong start with its import program this year.
“All imported product that comes through our facility is re-graded and re-packed to ensure that our consumers only receive premium citrus,” Bee Sweet Citrus Sales Manager Joe Berberian said in a press release. “Our attention to detail and year-round focus on citrus has given us an upper-hand when dealing with imports, and we’re excited to see how the remainder of the season goes.”
One of the largest importers of Chilean citrus on the West Coast, the grower, packer, and shipper of citrus solely works with citrus fruits, offering the company unique expertise as it familiarizes itself with the characteristics of premium citrus and retailers’ needs.
“July and August should be great promotional months for mandarins and oranges,” continued Berberian. “The eating quality of our imports have been great, and we’re thankful for our Chilean partners for helping us to kick off a strong, successful season.”
