NOBLESVILLE, IN - Setting down roots in new locales is essential for retail operations looking to grow. Earlier this year, BJ’s Wholesale Club made known that it planned to open six new stores across the eastern United States. Now, the company has added another to the mix—its first Indiana location.
A report from IndyStar noted that BJ’s has proposed a 104,458-square-foot building in Noblesville, Indiana. The completion date is not yet known.
Caleb Gutshall, the city’s Planning and Development Department Director, said that Noblesville is excited for BJ’s to take up residence.
“I have spoken with several people that are familiar with their East Coast and Southeast locations and are thrilled by the prospect of having a location so close to home, which speaks to the quality and unique experience the company provides,” Gutshall wrote in, via an email obtained by the news source.
As is standard in the retail biz, BJ’s will have competition nearby in the form of Costco and Sam’s Club.
It's difficult to predict the ever-shifting changes in retail expansion, but AndNowUKnow will do our best to keep you up to date.
