<p>Brookshire Brothers has entered into an agreement to acquire the 25-store chain, David's Supermarkets. Owned by the Waldrip family and located in North Central Texas, this acquisition will help expand Brookshire’s presence in the state, according to KTRE/ABC9.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Jerry Johnson, President and CEO of Brookshire Brothers stated, "We feel like these family-owned stores align with our core value that we are a celebration of family and community.
