MONTEREY, CA - Last month, culinary aficionados from far and wide came together in Monterey, California, for a one-of-a-kind, foodservice-focused event. The 4th Annual California Giant Berry Farms Chef Invitational not only gave participants the chance to compete for the title of Top Chef, but it invited them to take a closer look at berry farms and the growers that make them a reality.
Between extensive field tours, a wine and berry tasting, relationship-building dinners, and a highly anticipated culinary competition, the five chef finalists were kept busy with California Giant activities. The growers provided an inside look at their growing operations, while California Giant provided a peek into its company culture, giving a new layer to its already excellent products.
