Costco Wholesale Corporation has calculated their numbers for October and are reporting net sales of $7.01 billion for the four weeks ending October 30, 2011, with an increase of 11 percent from $6.30 billion during the related period last year. The first nine weeks of its reporting period ended October 30, 2011, where the Company reported net sales of $15.62 billion which marked an increase of 13 percent from $13.81 billion in comparison to last year. The inflation in gasoline prices have had a positive effect on comparable sales.
