For the 35 weeks ended May 5, 2013, net sales rose 9% from $63.6 billion to $69 billion.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><img src="https://cdn.andnowuknow.com/legacyWriterImages/costco_sales_increase_may_2013_BODY01.jpg" alt="images 050913" /><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Comparable net sales for the four week period rose by 4%. Changes in gasoline prices and foreign exchange rates had negative impacts on comparable sales for the month of April but slightly positive impacts for the 35 week period during which the metric rose 6%.</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p><a class="btn btn-sm btn-primary col-lg-12" style="white-space: normal;" href=" http://www.costco.com/" target="_new">Costco</a></p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">
