GRANGER, IA - Fareway is bolstering its hold on its home market, adding another pin to its map of locations across Iowa. The retailer has officially broken ground on its latest expansion, bringing a new store to Granger, Iowa.
“Upon opening, as people enter Granger, they will be greeted by their neighborhood Fareway,” said Fareway Chief Executive Officer Reynolds W. Cramer. “We are excited to join the Granger community. We want to thank city officials and the property owner for their hard work in making this project possible.”
Site work is expected to begin this fall, with the approximately 21,000-square-foot store anticipated to be completed in 2025. Similar to other Fareway stores, the new location will provide a high-quality selection of farm-fresh produce, as well as a full-service butcher counter and meat department, a press release stated.
Other key features of the store include to-your-car carryout, as well as Fast Lanes, a self-service checkout option, and online shopping and curbside pick-up.
