Fresh and Easy Markets has announced the hiring of Nicole DeRuiter as corporate social media/public relations manager. The company said DeRuiter, formerly an account executive with Matrixx Pictures, will be responsible for the strategy, coordination and management of the chain's social media outlets — including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Flickr.com and its own corporate blog — as well as coordinating and utilizing social media within various departments at Fresh and Easy.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">
