STOCKTON, CA - Put a plate of (meatless) nachos in front of me and I am bound to put it all down in one sitting. Make that a produce-centric plate of nachos, and I will be jumping for joy. Fresh Innovations California has done just that with its newest product, the Prize Slice® Apple Nachos Kits. If you plan to attend the International Fresh Produce Association’s Global Produce & Floral Show later this week, you can find these innovative items in the Fresh Ideas Showcase.
Combining fresh, tart apple slices from the Prize Slice retail brand with sweet and salty toppings, the nachos kits are available in three different recipe varieties. Packaged in a convenient kit, everything needed for a sweet, fresh treat is ready to assemble and enjoy. A press release noted that while there are many fresh kitted products in savory flavors, there are limited options for sweet, value-added fresh kits, until now.
This Friday and Saturday, Fresh Innovations will be sampling all three flavors on rotation, including:
- Tart Apple Slices and Caramel with Pretzel Pieces and Toffee Bits
- Tart Apple Slices and Peanut Butter with Chocolate Chips and Pretzel Pieces
- Tart Apple Slices, Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter, and Caramel with Praline Pretzel Pieces and White Chocolate Chips
On top of the excitement of seeing the nachos kits’ assembly, Fresh Innovations will also be collecting business cards from attendees who wish to put their name in the running for an Apple iPad. All of this and more will be going down at booth #4356.
