Freshpoint Incorporated, a division of Sysco Systems, has just introduced their latest customer resource: a brand new mobile application. The app will feature a number of capabilities, including direct access to the company’s website, ripening guides, storage and cooler tips, breaking produce news and access to information about locally grown produce. Brian Sturgeon, Freshpoint’s president and CEO, stated: “In our constantly changing foodservice industry, we want our customers to be aware of what is happening day to day. Our new FreshPoint mobile app provides us with a unique opportunity to showcase our products and services. It’s just another way to put the information that our customers want into their hands in real time.” The application is available for free via both itunes and the android market.
