This Spring, GIANT Food Stores and MARTIN’S Food Markets are furthering their efforts to fight childhood obesity by hosting a season of activities tailored towards promoting healthier lifestyles. Additionally, the first issue of the retailers' brand new health and wellness magazine, Kid Healthy Ideas Magazine, is now available in all stores. The literature offers twelve full color pages designed for children ages 8 through 12 presenting health-related educational articles, games and recipes created by GIANT and MARTIN'S nutritionists. The publications are released on a quarterly basis and can be found free in the produce departments and store lobbies of their local GIANT and MARTIN’S locations, as well as online.
