Giant Foods is announcing that its Baltimore City Giant location in Green Spring Tower Square will now be in business 24/7. The location celebrated its grand opening at the end of March. The store spreads over 48,500-square-feet and offers full-service floral, meat, and seafood departments along with a live lobster tank. The location also features a wide variety of produce, organic and gluten-free items, and an international assortment of Hispanic, Italian, and Asian products. A broad selection of prepared foods, gourmet cheeses, sandwiches, along with a soup and salad bar decorate the deli. The location features new in-store technologies. The “SCAN IT!” hand-held devices allow customers to scan and bag their groceries while they shop. Shoppers can also place deli orders at “ORDER IT!” kiosks and grab their items when they are alerted. Nick Hyson, Store Manager, states, “Over Giant’s 75-year history, we’ve always been committed to providing our customers the highest levels of quality, value, and service.
