<p><strong>San Antonio, TX </strong><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">H-E-B is hosting the Slim Down Showdown, a 12-week program that puts its 25 participants on the path to a healthier lifestyle. If selected for the program, H-E-B experts and wellness coaches will educate participants about cooking, nutrition, and exercise. The Grand Prize winner will receive $10,000, and A Fan Favorite prize will be awarded in the amount of $5,000.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Applications for the Slim Down Showdown are accepted until September 30, 2012, and contestants will be announced in January of 2013. The contest begins January 13, 2013 and ends April 6, 2013.
