WEST DES MOINES, IA - Looking to fulfill changing demands of the grocery market and consumers as new styles of holiday shopping take shape, Hy-Vee has announced that it is seeking 10,000 new employees to fill a variety of different roles throughout the company. The retailer is looking for new associates to place in multiple positions across its eight-state region as well as in its distribution centers in Chariton and Cherokee, Iowa, as it also continues to expand with new stores.
According to a release from the company, Hy-Vee is searching for temporary and permanent help for both full- and part-time positions.
Totaling nearly 10,000 open roles, numbers needed in some of Hy-Vee's largest markets include:
- Cedar Rapids: 190
- Des Moines: 1,500
- Iowa City: 350
- Kansas City: 445
- Lincoln: 600
- Madison: 150
- Minneapolis: 1,035
- Omaha/Council Bluffs: 1,075
- Quad Cities: 670
- Sioux City: 130
- Sioux Falls: 525
- Waterloo/Cedar Falls: 65
