NEWARK, DE & WASHINGTON, DC - Are you ready for the Global Produce & Floral Show? The International Fresh Produce Association event is coming up next week, taking place October 19–21. The association recently laid out what we can expect to see.
“One of the most important features of the global show is the opportunity to connect in person,” said Vonnie Estes, Vice President of AgFood Tech Innovation. “We discover new products, services, and ideas, of course, but this industry is heavily grounded in personal relationships, and the show is where they happen. The 2023 global show has more networking options than prior shows, tailored to maximize opportunities and target unique connections. In addition to those unexpected, important conversations in the hallways, on the shuttle bus, and at the hotels, attendees can take advantage of a variety of scheduled activities.”
Attendees can find connections at:
- Welcome Reception: All-access badge or reception ticket required
- Global Show Block Party
- Community Receptions for floral, retail, sci-tech, and talent
Key insights can also be found at education sessions while building existing connections and finding new ones. Networking breakfasts and lunches, general sessions, the Women’s Fresh Perspectives Breakfast, and the Education Festival all offer opportunities to connect. Education sessions and keynotes are available only to attendees with all-access passes.
“I’ve always enjoyed my time at the show. New people, old friends, and colleagues…so great to connect! Finding new items, packaging solutions, and brand-new partners,” said Chris Romano, Vice President of Produce and Floral at The Fresh Market. “If you are going to one show in the year…this is the one to go to.”
To meet like-minded peers at the expo, attendees can also join the AgTech Celebration in the Innovation Hub, visit the lounges on the show floor, and discover the Food Safety Tech X-Change. Special activities include the Race for a Healthier World 5K and the Retail Tour.
All of this and much more will be taking place next week, and we hope to see you there!
