Ippolito International Announces New Addition to Sales Team
SALINAS, CA - As one of the most central leadership teams of any organization, the Sales division can be a vital tool in implementing growth strategies. Ippolito International recently took this strategic approach, announcing that Greg Heinz has been named as the newest manager on its Sales team.
According to a press release, Heinz has nearly 15 years of sales and commodity management experience from working at D'Arrigo Brothers California, covering a broad range of fresh vegetables.
"Greg brings a very solid range of experience to our sales group. With his strengths on the product side and his strong customer management background, he will be a valuable asset to our department," said Dan Canales, Senior VP of Sales, Marketing, and Processing.
An alumnus of California Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo, CA, Heinz started his career while a student intern. He was assigned to work in the cooler, tracking orders, ensuring accuracy, and learning cooler operations.
From there, he moved into the sales department, where he gained experience managing commodities with a focus on broccoli and romaine hearts. Heinz was also responsible for managing retail, wholesale, and foodservice customers.
