Loblaw Companies Limited has been named one of Canada’s Best Diversity Employers for 2013 by Mediacorp Canada Inc. for the third consecutive year. The award recognizes Loblaw’s commitment to reflect the diversity of colleagues, customers, and their surrounding communities. The company’s Inclusion Council is in charge of their diversity efforts with a 2012 action plan that included ensuring stores reflect the ethnicity of the communities they serve, increasing the percentage of female store managers, and hiring persons with disabilities and other targeted community groups.
