Market Street has just announced plans for the construction of its seventh location in Flower Mound, Texas, located in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The new store, which is operated by parent company United Supermarkets, LLC, is aimed to open in the fall of 2013 and will boast a noticeably different look, both inside and out. At 55,000 square-feet, it will have a smaller footprint than other Market Street locations while also offering a separate entrance and exit, which should improve traffic flow and provide customers an easier shopping experience. In addition to the new layout, guests will also notice a change in the “fresh from farm” produce department located at the front of the store as well as a large casual dining area, which will offer beer and wine by the glass, a first for the company. Tony Crumpton, executive vice president of facilities, fuel and supply for United Supermarkets, LLC, stated, “We believe this store will serve as a new prototype for us, both in terms of size and décor.” He continued, “It should provide an exciting shopping environment for our guests.”
