<p> Shoppers at one Meijer store in Michigan are experiencing the next generation in grocery checkout. The retailer is testing out a new system at its Jenison store to help shoppers get through the checkout line faster. Part baggage carousel, part grocery scanning powerhouse, this new innovative system may just be the fastest way to get out of those checkout lines as soon as possible. Check out the video to see the system in action!</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><object id="flashObj" width="480" height="270" classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=9,0,47,0"><param name="movie" value="http://c.brightcove.com/services/viewer/federated_f9?isVid=1&isUI=1" /><param name="bgcolor" value="#FFFFFF" /><param name="flashVars" value="videoId=3431466614001&playerID=2436806291001&playerKey=AQ~~,AAAAQBxUr7k~,PsMaWpexSO0gBGbwp0HC65I60alsnUQ1&domain=embed&dynamicStreaming=true" /><param name="base" value="http://admin.brightcove.com" /><param name="seamlesstabbing" value="false" /><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /><param name="swLiveConnect" value="true" /><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always" /><embed src="http://c.brightcove.com/services/viewer/federated_f9?isVid=1&isUI=1" bgcolor="#FFFFFF" flashVars="videoId=3431466614001&playerID=2436806291001&playerKey=AQ~~,AAAAQBxUr7k~,PsMaWpexSO0gBGbwp0HC65I60alsnUQ1&domain=embed&dynamicStreaming=true" base="http://admin.brightcove.com" name="flashObj" width="480" height="270" seamlesstabbing="false" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowFullScreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" swLiveConnect="true" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash"></embed></object><p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> Shoppers simply place merchandise on a conveyor belt, where a scanner made up of 17 cameras scan the products and sends them on their way to one of three collection areas for bagging. We know that other retailers like Kroger have been experimenting with new technology during checkout, but this is certainly an interestingly unique take!</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p><a class="btn btn-sm btn-primary col-lg-12" style="white-space: normal;" href=" http://www.meijer.com" target="_new"> Meijer </a></p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">
