Emerson, continues, "Our continued growth, along with the upcoming holiday selling season, make it imperative that we increase our staffing properly to operate our stores and deliver on the Meijer promise of providing exceptional customer service."<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Meijer's breakdown for the hiring season:<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Michigan: 4,400 team members<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Ohio: 1,600 team members<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Indiana: 1,800 team members<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Illinois: 900 team members<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Kentucky: 500 team members<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">During the online application process, prospective team members can indicate their store preference and may also complete an online application at the employment kiosks located at Meijer stores, according to a press release.
