Meijer is once again teaming up with its generous customers and team members for its "Simply Give" Food Pantry Campaign, which will help restock shelves at nearly 200 local food banks in Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana and Kentucky. Janet Emerson, executive vice president for the Grand Rapids, Michigan-based retailer, stated that "this is our 8th Simply Give program, and we are very pleased that we closing in on 2 million dollars in food donations since 2008." This year's Simply Give effort will run through May 14th.
