WATSONVILLE, CA - As mushroom supplier Monterey Mushrooms continues to expand, the company is making some shifts in its leadership to accommodate future growth. Recently, the grower announced that it promoted Leslie Harden to Eastern Region Sales Director, taking over for Mike Stephan, who will be transitioning to Western Region Sales Director.
In her new role, Harden will manage fresh retail and foodservice mushroom sales in the east, including the Monterey Mushrooms’ locations in Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Illinois, and Florida, a release explained.
Harden is based out of Florida and has been with the company since 2008, having most recently served as Fresh Sales Manager. As part of her new duties, she will target volume growth with key customers and work with the sales manager in the east to drive profits and improve customer relationships.
Mike O’Brien, Vice President of Sales and Business Development, commented on Harden’s recent promotion.
“Monterey Mushrooms is fortunate to have dedicated leaders like Leslie to support the growth of our fresh sales team,” he stated. “We look to her experience with our company and in the industry to help develop our teammates and fresh mushroom sales.”
